| Hello! My name is McKenzie and I am one of the interns at Giant Voices. I am a senior at the College of St. Scholastica, and I love getting involved in the Duluth community and enjoying all the great outdoor activities! I am excited to learn from everyone, gain new skills and discover more about Giant Voices. |

What is your major?
My major is Organizational Leadership with a Marketing minor.
When do you graduate?
I will graduate next year in May 2021.
What is your favorite class?
My favorite class right now is my Digital Marketing class with Melissa Goodson. She is extremely enthusiastic about marketing which makes the class that much more enjoyable! I love how digital marketing is always changing! There are always new challenges and tactics that appear daily in the digital marketing world. I like how fun it is and how the constant changes will always keep you engaged so you will never get bored with it.
What interests you most about marketing?
I love all the opportunities that come with marketing and how it connects everyone to everything. It is always changing so that you are never bored - there will always be more to learn.
What is something most people don't know about you?
I grew up on a family resort in a small town called Longville. I am also a triplet.
What are your hobbies?
My hobbies are anything that involves people! I love volunteering in the community. I also enjoy traveling with Rotary International and seeing everything the world has to offer. A couple of summers ago I was able to go to Uganda, Rwanda and Kenya and work in refugee camps. It was the most rewarding and eye-opening experience.

I am attending the University of Minnesota, Duluth.
What is your major?
Marketing with a minor in psychology.
When do you graduate?
I plan on graduating in May of 2021.
What is your favorite class?
My favorite class is marketing research. I’m enrolled in it this semester, and learning the process of proper research and information to obtain for certain scenarios has been the most interesting thing I've accomplished in school. I never thought I would be so invested in a class but I fell in love with the data.
What interests you most about marketing?
I consider marketing one of, if not the most, important aspects of a business. I think a successful business always has a good marketing plan. I want to be a part of that process. I want to help by increasing business’s reach and helping them achieve their full potential. I like coming together with creative minds and producing something amazing and different.
What is something most people don't know about you?
I love to snowboard! I only picked it up three years ago when I moved up to Duluth for college. I had no equipment so I had to rent the whole package. I learned pretty fast and fell in love with the activity on the same day. I plan on staying active this winter in Duluth!
What are your hobbies?
Besides snowboarding, I like activities that revolve around nature. Duluth is surrounded by so many beautiful locations to visit and explore. I love to hike along the north shore and go camping on a nice weekend!
