Intern Spotlight - Abby Miller

Giant Voices, Inc. (Giant Voices) is thrilled to have Abby Miller on board as our Giant intern! Get to know Abby in this week’s employee spotlight.

Hi! My name is Abby Miller, I am one of the summer interns at Giant Voices! I am a senior in college, and I love traveling and spending time with my friends and family.

Where are you going to school?
I attend the University of Minnesota, Duluth. (Go Bulldogs!)

What is your major?
I am majoring in Marketing and minoring in International Business.

When do you graduate?
I am set to graduate in May, 2021.

What is your favorite class?
Last semester, I took a class called Advertising and Marketing Communications, which was really fun! I loved this class because I had the opportunity to create a marketing campaign and see the progression of the campaign from start to finish. The class had a unique real-world focus and was incredibly hands-on. My team and I were able to experience what goes on at an agency - writing creative briefs, collaborating on communication plans, and executing a campaign!

What interests you most about marketing?
What interests me most about marketing is that it’s always changing. Each project could be completely different from the last, and I find it interesting that marketing changes and evolves so quickly, just as our world does.

What is something most people don't know about you?
I am a neat freak, overly organized and obsessed with corgis!

What are your hobbies?
I like to spend time with my friends and family, drink lots of coffee, and I really love to travel. I’ve been all over the U.S. and the Caribbean, and Italy.
